David Cameron to Use radical approach in legislating Homosexual Marriage in Worship places

 

David Cameron has revealed that Homosexuals should have equal right with Heterosexual. He stated that as a strong supporter of marriage institution, he wouldn’t want a situation whereby homosexuals are denied their matrimonial rights. David Cameron is planning to legislate by 2015, an act that will allow homosexuals to have their unions solemnized in the church and other places of worship. H e is now on the same page with Labour Party Edward Miliband and Lib Dem Nick Clegg who are crusaders of same sex marriage taking place in church, synagogue or mosques.

Speaking after an event in Redditch today, David Cameron revealed that he is going to use radical approach to get this done. This action is in defiance of the advice given to him by the members of the conservative party who warned that such legislation will pull down the traditional support base of the party. Speaking after the event, he said this legislation was a free vote by members of parliament but personally, he maintained that he has a personal support. Many churchgoers strongly oppose this policy of same sex marriage. Tory MP said that in spite of PM’s assurance, redefinition of marriage because of European convention on human right, will force churches to solemnize same sex couples

Gary Hyde 43, from Newton Derwent near York has been convicted by a Southwork Crown court in England and has been sentenced to seven years prison term for shipping the following items from China to Nigeria without license.

a. 40,000 AK 47s. 

b. 30,000 Riffles

c. 10,000 nine millimeter pistols

d. 32 million rounds of ammunition

c. He then hid $1 million- 620,460 pound of commission payment

He was convicted on two count charges of breaching UK trade control and concealing criminal property. The Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith said that the arm trade agreement between the two countries are legal but condemned Gary's negligence to obtaining license before embarking on such venture, knowing fully well that it's most likely to be disapproved. He was lured into the illegal contract because of the huge gain that was involved.

Facebook Founder, Mark Zuckerberg falls from Grace to.... in Forbes list

The Chief Executive Officer and founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has dropped abysmally in Forbes List of richest people in the world 2012. His occupation of the 9th position in the old list was no longer tenable as he now occupies 25th position in the Forbes list. The reason is not far fetched. This is simply due to Facebook stock downturn which saw Mark Zuckerberg losing about $17.5 billion of his fortune. Facebook initial public offer (IPO) was $38 per share but has dropped to below $20. There have been accusing fingers pointing at multiple directions in addition to lawsuits filed here and there and this will linger for many years to come. This explains the sharp drop in the list.

New City within Abuja as Nigeria Marks 100 years of Amalgamation

 

The government of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the construction of a City within Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, the minister of Information, Labaran Maku has revealed this. This is in preparation for the celebration of Nigerian amalgamation which took place in 1914. The Northern and Southern Protectorate of this country was fused together in 1914 by the then Governor-General Lord Lugard. According to Federal government  the project is going to be 100% private sector driven but the only thing the government will do is to donate the land for the great project.

Who wins the African Footballer of the Year Award come December 20?

                                 

The trio of  Ivorian international and Manchester City striker,Yaya Toure, Ivorian international  and Shanghai Shenghua striker, Didier Drogba and thirdly Cameroonian international and FC Barcelona Midfielder Alex Song have been nominated for the award of African footballer of the year, 2012. The winner will be announced on December 20 in Accra, Ghana. Alex Song was voted second place because of his role in Arsenal midfield which facilitated Arsenal Feat in 2011/12 before he left for FC Barcelona. Drogba did a lot of exploits in his Chinese club. Current award winner, Yaya Toure is doing well in his Manchester City club side.

Another Blow to Nollywood as Enebeli Elebuwa passes on in India

Veteran Nollywood actor, Enebeli Elebuwa has passed on. He died in India early today after a prolonged battle with stroke and Diabetes. He went to India to receive treatment for diabetes and stroke under the financial support of  Delta state government which came to his rescue after being abandoned by fellow nollywood stars. The Delta state born nollywood star featured in so many movies where he most often played the role of a rich man. We shall surely miss him in the entertainement industry. RIP

More problems are coming up in Late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu's Family even as the first son Chukwuemeka Jnr said he has taken over his father's properties according to Igbo tradition and custom and his family relations are now backing him up. He has rejected the father's Will which was read on November 20. However, another son has maintained that he is the rightful owner of his late  father's property and not Chukwuemeka Jnr; even his name was not mentioned in the will read. But the family lawyer clarified that according to late Ojukwu, the boy came to him as an adult and introduced himself as Debe from Udi in Enugu state. He said his mother informed him to meet Ojukwu that he was the father. Then Late Ojukwu inquired who the mother was but he said she had remarried. Further, ojukwu asked why no sibling of the mother was available to lead him. He said he would go and come back and also bring the picture but he never did that until Ikemba died

Goodluck Jonathan's Brother, Meni Slated for Burial on Saturday

President Goodluck Jonathan's late brother, Meni has been slated for burial on Saturday in his Otuoke town in Bayelsa state, south south Nigeria. Meni died on November 20 when he was brought to Abuja from Bayelsa. Until his death, he held a Chieftaincy title.

Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on media Dr. Reuben Abati disclosed this in Abuja. He added that president Jonathan will leave Abuja for Bayelsa on Thursday to participate in the burial ceremony.  Service of songs will be held for late Meni  at Dame Patience Jonathan square in Bayelsa on Friday and church service on Saturday at St. Stephen Anglican Church, Otuoke by 10am.
