This young man you are seeing here is not in the news for good. He has been under detention in the UK for rape charges leveled against him in May 2009. He drove a young girl to his Aberdeen apartment and raped her. Since then he has been in the court. In May 2009, he held a nineteen year old girl in his car in the guise of helping her and eventually had a canal knowledge of her in his apartment. He has since been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment although this jail term was later reviewed downwards to 9 years. But he was privileged to have an option to appeal which he did. Now the presiding Judge justice Blake tagged him ''dangerous sexual predator'' and even questioned his right to appeal. Ekene is now fighting back saying deporting him to Nigeria will breach his fundamental human right seeing he has been a computer student in Uk for a long time. However, Justice Blake noted that this situation has overridden the concept of human right.
