FABRICE MUAMBA RETIRES FROM FOOTBALL

Fabrice Muamba
Fabrice Muamba, announced yesterday that he has finally retired from club and international football based on the advice of his Belgium Doctor. Fabrice had cardiac arrest in the field of play when his club Bolton Wanderers had an away encounter with Tottenham Hotspur at white Hart Lane. His heart stopped beating for about 78minutes. Miraculously, his heart resumed beating after medical intervention. His quitting football was not his personal decision as he wished to still display more of his football know-how in Bolton Wanderers. He just traveled to Belgium with the hope that his doctor will approve his going back to football but suprisingly, the medical advice was absolutely dissuading as he was advised to quit football. The Congo native relocated to England at age 11 and has featured for England at many levels of football.
