Japan, South  Korea were not particularly happy with the development because they have the same apprehension as the world over that North Korea's rocket launch has a serious security concern even though the defiant North Asia country insisted their program was for scientific and peaceful purpose. South Koreans protested seriously with replica of North Korea rocket burnt. Both China and Russia equally showed strong disapproval for this launch. On the other hand, United nation security council were overly disappointed because this is completely in defiance of UN security council advice in 2009 which bans such rocket launch using ballistic missile technology approach.
