N100 ATM Charge to stop on Monday, December 17

The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria and Chairman of Bankers' Committee, Mallam Lamido Sanusi Lamido has announced that the N100 (One hundred Naira) ATM Charge earlier announced this will stop effectively on Monday December 17,2012. He announced this in Calabar during the  fourth annual Bankers' committee retreat tagged 'Economic Development and Sustainable transformation'. According to him, the delay was for the banks to configure their IT infrastructure to be in tune with the demands the harmonization will throw up.
