The popular Nollywood actress and special assistant to Imo state governor on public affairs, Nkiru Sylvanus has regained her freedom from captivity. She was kidnapped last Sunday in Owerri Imo state close to concord hotels while on official assignment. After her abduction, her captors demanded the sum of N100 million ransom for her release. However, it is not clear whether or not any ransom was paid for her release. Few days ago, Nollywood actors and actresses protested against her kidnap and demanded for her immediate release from captivity.
