Nonetheless, a correspondent of saharareporters has had access to a document from the Delta state finance ministry signed by P.O Evuojapha mandating the N50 million to be spent on the purpose for which it was released. Thereafter, RMD connived and fraudulently issued a cheque in favour of Ms Ajufo under questionable circumstance which she paid into her First Bank Account number 3006131619. They both later shared the money. Two sources confirmed that Ms Dunkwu used her own share to erect two twin duplexes at no. 6 Dunkwu street, Asaba behind junior staff quarters and Redeemed Christian Church of God. Nevertheless, a sources disclosed that Ms Ajufo denied embezzling any fund but rather accused RMD of siphoning the whole N50 million naira although her account was used to carry out the transaction.
