Kidnappers OF ESUT Vice Chancellor Nabbed

The Kidnap gang that abducted the Vice Chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT has been arrested in their hide out in Safety Hotels Uwani, Enugu south local government area of the state following a tip  off from a concerned citizen. ago by his abductors and since then, the anti-kidnapping squad has been on their trail. Narrating how the arrest was carried out, police public relations officer, Ebere Amarizu stated that three of the suspects were first arrested on Wednesday and then they led the squad to where others were apprehended. According to the Police PRO, Ejike Aba, Osinachi Iheanacho and Obinna Okoro were arrested in a commercial vehicles in Agbogugu, Awgu , Enugu-Portharcourt expressway based on intelligence gathered by the police. Continuing, at about 1am on wednesday, they were led to Safety Hotels in Uwani Enugu where a gun duel ensued between the security agency and the kidnappers. When the dust settled, Ezebuilo Ihemere a.k.a GAGO, Ifeanyi Kingsley Ede, Ani Chidiebere, Udonu Ernest, ,Chibuzor Eze were arrested while one chyboy escaped from the roof top of the 3 storey building with severe gunshot injury. So many items inclluding AK 47 riffles were recovered from then.
