Killed 5 days After Wedding

Ugochukwu Ozuah, 35 year old Mechanical Engineering graduate who just wedded on September 15, 2012 was brutally murdered by yet to identified gunmen. The killers were reported to have worn police uniform.  The dastardly act occurred when the deceased was dropping his friend Irikefe Omene at UPS bus stop at Gbagada area of
Lagos state. At the bus stop, the Irikefe and the deceased alighted from the car in order to get a taxi for Irikefe. Coincidentally, two men dressed in police uniform accosted them and demanded for the deceased identity.  Incidentally, one of the two men in police uniform released his shot unto the deceased and it pierced through this heart and left through the back. But Police denied this and maintained they were robbers. But his friend Urikefe Omena who came from the united kingdom noted he was aloof as to why the police could just kill his friend just like that.

When the incident happened, Urikefe went back to inform Ugochukwu's wife Joan and the in-laws. They came back to the scene within few minutes in another car and surprisingly, there were more policemen there with Ozuah lying in the pool of his blood. The divisional police officer stated that he just got phone call that someone has been shot. ' I told him Police shot my friend'- Urikefe said. Although Ugochukwu's body was still warm, he was not making any moves.  Omene noted that he stayed with the DPO but he was rather adamant to agree to his own position. The DPO insisted the killers must be armed robbers in Police uniform.
