Anti-Muslim Film Maker Nakoula Arrested

The producer of the controversial anti-Muslim film which sparked violent protest across North Africa, Middle East, Nakoula Basseley has been arrested by the United States Security agents. He has a chequered history. Example, in the year, 2010, he was sentenced for Fraud and banned from using internet for 5 good years without prior permission.
Since then, he has been on probation. He violated his probationary period and uploaded the controversial film 'Innocence of Muslim'' in July on YouTube. This film mocks Prophet Mohammed. Although the protest start immediately, the clip caused protest as from September 11. The  violent protest swept across the Arab world recently. It led the the death of American Ambassador to Libya, Steven Christopher after the consulate was razed by Benghazi Militia. Since then, security agencies have been on his trail and  finally captured him yesterday. The judge refused to grant him bail because of  possible breach of trust

Jailed: Nakoula was ordered to be detained without bail due to the risk he could abscond

Nakoula has 8 probation violation including lying to his probation officers and using aliases and this might attract new charges against him which might take him to prison for up to two years. His defendant attorney requested for Nakoula's bail for $10,000 on the ground that in the federal prison, his client risks being molested by Muslim inmates.
