Peoples Democratic Party leader in the South-East, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu
Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu
News agency of Nigeria has reported that PDP stalwart, former chairman of Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) and Chairman of Champions Newspaper has dismissed the idea of having a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction come 2015. He said this in Owerri Imo state during a press conference where he maintained that the only thing that will make rotational presidency work in Nigeria is to include it in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria where occupation of the office is rotated across the geopolitical zones.
He however noted that there are so many capable hands from the eastern part of the country who can lead Nigerians to their promise land  but internal politics and selfishness is militating against this. He equally gave a nod to granting autonomy to Local government councils since these councils are closer to the grass roots and and they will achieve more if allowed to control their funds.

As for insecurity, he advised the federal government to address the root caused by creating job opportunities for Nigerian teeming youths.
