45 year old nollywood actor, Rasak Olaniyi was on Tuesday docked before an Igbosere magistrate court on 4 count charges of robbery, stealing, impersonation and conspiracy. He was accused of robbing one Abayomi Akinde of the sum of N2.6 million naira at Oriental Hotels Victoria Island. Rasak who is residing at No. 7 Aduke Salako street, Agbado stealthily robbed one Arinde of the sum of N500,000.00, $10.000,00 and three gold jewelries each costing 150,000.00.
Luck ran out on him when the complainant in the closed hotel room raised alarm and the security operatives attached to the hotel rounded him up.
The prosecutor Sunday Aggoi stated that the offence is punishable under criminal code of Lagos state 2011. But council to he accused pleaded with court to grant him bail and his plea was sustained. He was later granted bail with the sum of N1,000,000.00 with 2 sureties in like sum.
