An airplane LVB 3306 belonging to Isiyaku Rabiu and Sons (IRS) has collided with a truck belonging to a contractor of Federal Aviation Authority of Nigeria, (FAAN) as it taxied away from the airport en route to Kano state. Having 91 passengers on board, the there was no reported casualty but the passengers disembarked from the passenger plane and joined another one. Yemi Dada, the Managing director of the airline confirmed the incident and added it occurred around 7.48am. Continuing, he said the pilot saw the abandoned truck afar of but nothing and nobody indicated that part of it encroached the taxi way. On reaching there, the wing of the plane hit part of the truck and this forced the plane to cancel its flight to Kano.
