PHCN Manager Beaten to a Pulp by Governor of Sokoto State

Govenor of Sokoto state, Aliyu Wamakko has beaten a PHCN Manager Moses Osigwe to a pulp for his failure to live up to expectation in supplying his community light as expected. Apart from the manager. two other PHCN staff were molested for their inefficiency. The acting Managing Director of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, Mohammed Adamu made made this assault known at their Doka Office in Kaduna. According to a statement from Adamu, the Governor invited Moses Osigwe to his personal house and inquired why his community has been without light. When Moses wanted to explain the cause which was the failure of 2.5MVA transformer to the Governor, The Governor brought out ''Bulala'' Horse Whip and beat Moses to pulp. ''It was unimaginable'' noted the acting Managing director. When the Governor got tired of beating him, he directed two mobile policemen to take over the beating until the man lost consciousness.  Adamu described the governor's action as barbaric and uncalled for.
