In their bid to match their words with action, the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has sealed the Facilities of Obat Petroleum limited, Ascon Oil Compnay limited and MRS Oil and Gas Limited in addition to some filling stations selling Petrol above the normal price of N97 along Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
Recently, DPR gave stern warning to these marketers urging them to comply with their directives failure to that they added would attract severe sanctions. DPR in a statement announced '' We have commenced the sealing of identified depots. PMS delivery arm of the under listed depot: MRS Oil and Gas, Obat Petroleum, Ascon Nigeria. DPR Director, Osten Olorunsola has announced that any filling station seen selling Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) arbitrarily will be sealed and the operating licence withdrawn forthwith. He added that they have received so many complaints about filling stations selling PMS above the official pump price and some even display the arbitrary price with impunity without any fear of being apprehended..
