Having tried several options to terminate the life of her soldier husband all to no avail; a middle aged woman (name withheld) has resorted to using an acid to bath her husband. The incident happened at block 55, Amoured brigade Sobi, Ilorin in Kwara State North Central Nigeria. Investigation has revealed that the woman used the acid on him at about 10pm in the night for an unknown reason. Besides, the husband has just returned from a military hospital recently for a treatment on food poisoning.
The case has been transferred to Police command after the husband has died.
