For Criticizing Gay Marriage, This Man Lost his Managerial Position, Salary Cut by 40%

Mr. Adrian Smith 55,  attends an evangelical Church in Bolton. There are so many prices to be paid as a dedicated christian. What has Mr. Smith done to deserve 40% cut in his salary and loss of Managerial Position in a Housing Enterprise- Trafford Housing Trust. This is because he has dared to be different. He is vocal and does not mince words in criticizing same sex marriage. A lesbian colleague of his set a trap for him to criticize gay marriage on his personal Facebook page. The former Trafford Housing Trust Manager posted a link in his Facebook page to an articles about civil partnership in churches. He commented 'An equality too far' .Then the lesbian colleague questioned whether or not he has disapproval for Gay Marriage.  Then Mr. Smith questioned why people who have not iota of faith and don't believe  in Christ Jesus would want to come to church to regularize their union.

Opinion: Adrian Smith had posted a link to an article about plans for civil partnership ceremonies in churches with his own comment: 'An equality too far'

Because  of this comment which some people said was offensive even though it was a  hearsay caused his company to downgrade his position and slash his salary by £40,000. He launched his legal battle just yesterday to reclaim his lost position and his accrued earning of about £4000 for 18 months.
Hearing: Mr Smith gave evidence today at Manchester County Court at the start of a two-day trial where he is claiming his employers acted unlawfully in demoting him
Manchester County Court where the Hearing took place.

Mr Adrian Smith was very explicit and maintained that the Bible was very clear on the bone of contention where her said Marriage is meant for a man and a woman and nothing short of that.

Unimpressed: Julia Stavordale (pictured right, with her partner Judy Simmons) was a lesbian colleague with whom Mr Smith was friends on Facebook.
Julia Stavordale and Juddy Simon are Lesbain Partners and Facebook Friends of Mr. Smith were not impressed with  Mr. Smith Position  on Marriage
Continuing. he said  'If the State wants to offer civil marriages to same sex, then it is up to the state. But the state shouldn't impose its rules on churches, places of worship and conscience'.
