D'Banj Condemns Aluu Community's Jungle Justice on 4 Uniport Students



Nigerian popular Music Artiste Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D'banj has condemned in entirety the callous and brutal murder of 4 University of Port Harcourt 200 level undergraduates which included:

  • Biringa Chiadika Lordson, a second year Theater Art student with matriculation number: U2010/ 1805036,
  •  Ugonna Kelechi Obuzor, a second year Geology student with matriculation: U2010/5565149,
  •  Mike Llyod Toku, 200 level Civil Engineering student with Matriculation number: U2010/3010094 and Tekena Erikena yet to be confirmed whether or not he was a student in the camp



He described the unwholesome act as 'an unspeakable tragedy'; ''They were my brothers...and yours'' he added.
Furthermore, the United Nations ambassador of Youth for Peace stated that ''We are not a nation of Barbarians. We can follow due process and procedures. We must fight together as one nation to ensure that Justice as a whole is served, and a process is duly followed always.
''We can only try to make a meaning of this senseless tragedy by ensuring that this will not happen again. by affirming that pursuit of Justice does not in any way entitle any of us to unlawful elimination of peoples' lives and by ensuring that we as youths do not destroy the honorable mantle placed on us as the future of our nation by eliminating our present''.
