Picture of President Goodluck Jonathan's Family House Submerged by Flood

President Goodluck  Ebele Jonathan has lamented that his house that was initially spared by the ravaging flood in the North Central, South East, and South South of Nigeria has now been immersed inside water. The picture has shown that ordinarily, one cannot enter into the compound except one uses boat or canoe to achieve that.  His House at Otuoke in Bayelsa state south south Nigeria has been submerged inside the flood up to the window level. He hinted this while inaugurating 'Nigeria Saving  One million lives Initiative'' at the banquet hall at presidential villa, Abuja. He sincerely appreciated all the global funding partners for their intervention and added more funding will be channeled into the disaster management so that Nigeria will come out this menace. ''Nigerians are so devastated by flood and sometimes when you watch on the television, you will not appreciate what they are saying. I traveled from North to the South. On Sunday, I was in my village and left village on Sunday Morning by that time, flood was about entering my compound. The news I am getting now is that the whole of my compound is flooded up to the window level.''
The Nigeria Saving one million lives initiative is aimed at saving One Million Lives by 2015 through equitable and cost effective health care facilities.
