The just concluded popular MTN Projectfame West Africa ended over the weekend after many months in the academy by the contestants. It was indeed a quite thrilling contest among contestants drawn from across west Africa- Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Sierra leone and we give kudos to MTN for their efforts in trying , testing and developing natural talents across west Africa.

| Winner Ayo |
Ayo won the Season 5 MTN Project fame west Africa with a cheque worth N2,500,000.00 plus fully loaded Toyota Rav 4 and a recording contract worth 7 million naira. Ayo has joined the likes of Inyaya who won the maiden MTN Project Fame West Africa season 1, Mike Anazodo who won the season 2, Chidinma who won season 3 and Monica who won season 4. Ayo was just fabulous especially in Afro music.

| First Runner up Marvellous |
Marvellous was simply fantastic in his performance. At First, I personally thought he would be the winner based on his performance coupled with the fact that he never went on probation. But the judges and audience who sent in text messages proved the conception wrong. He came second with N1,500,000.00 with Toyota Corolla.

| Second Runner up Adetoun |
Adetoun was exceptionally gifted especially in Yoruba Music. She has all it takes to thrive in Yoruba songs. She was simply amazing on stage. She came third with N1,000,000.00 and toyota Yaris.

And Ella (Stage name), she did not loose anything as she joined the academy from the Wild card as the overall winner and came fourth winning N1,000,000.00
The Projectfame competition this time had some value addition where past participants who came and rendered their own songs along side the Project 5 contestants. This will bring more challenge to the various contestants and will remind them that this is not the time go to sleep but work harder and reach zenith of their careers.
