Mubi Polytechnic Killing Spree: Victims Called Out in Sequence from Hit list

Unknown Gunmen came with hit list to the off campus and embarked on a killing spree as the victims were called out from the list one after the other and were either shot to death or slaughter them with their knives. More than 20 Students lost their lives to the rampaging Gunmen. The motive behind the wanton destruction of these lives is not yet known but it came a day after Nigerian Independence and also after the leader of the dreaded Islamic sect Boko Haram swore to  fight the government officials and their wives. The situation was terrible as students were slaughtered like sheep without shepherd.  Clicking below is going to open graphic images of dead victims.

The attack was an overnight assault and it happened that one of the supposed victims was not available, a father was killed as a replacement. Students have since deserted the university campus. The commissioner of Adamawa state Godfrey Okeke confirmed the incident. He noted that one of his officer got him informed around 2am early Tuesday and at dawn, he came and saw about 26 corpses. They later deposited them in the mortuary.  When asked why Joint Task Force could not do anything when the nefarious act was going on, he stated that the Gunmen muffled their guns and equally used knives to slaughter their victims.
